Due to the rising population and sea levels, worlds that were once separate will begin to merge. Inevitably, humanity will confront the oceans and call them home. Horizon is the first submersible urban organism which redefines where humanity dwells by challenging where land meets water. The city is a dynamic coral reef-inspired community that can change its orientation and elevation for resilience during tropical storms, optimal daylighting, and the opportunity to interact with the depths of the ocean.
